Students who wish to specialize in Biostatistics may obtain a degree with special emphasis. The general requirements are the same as those for the MA Degree in Statistics – Regular Track.

 In addition, students must satisfy the following.

• Take Statistics 7410 and
• Either Statistics 7420, Statistics 8410 or Statistics 9410, or equivalent

Submit a project or thesis related to Biostatistics or take the qualifying examination (see Doctorate of Statistics requirements for more details).
